General Clinton Canoe Regatta

The General Clinton Canoe Regatta weekend attracts more than 1,500 paddlers to 50 races in one or two-person classes on the Susquehanna River. The Regatta culminates Memorial Day with a 70-mile endurance race from Cooperstown to Bainbridge, the world’s longest single-day flat water marathon canoe race. Besides canoe races, the weekend also offers carnival rides, music, fireworks, a garden tractor pull and a craft and flea market at the race finish line at General Clinton Park.
